We're here in the hospital now, and Lindsey is all hooked up. We're listening to little Caden's heartbeat on the monitor and watching When Harry Met Sally. The doctors think it will be at least 12 hours before Lindsey goes into hard labor, but she labored for a total of 12 hours with each of our other two, so we're hoping for much sooner.
Now comes the final stage of waiting...
Prayer request of the moment:
We really don't want this to drag out any longer than it has to, so please pray that labor comes sooner rather than later.

Lindsey and Brandon,
ReplyDeleteI am here praying for you. May you feel the tangible comfort of Jesus holding you so closely right now - bury your faces in His loving arms. My church is praying for you. I love you so much.
Love,
Selena
We are also praying for you, as are many others. God will never fail you, He will never give you more than you can bear, and all things work together for His purposes, even the hard stuff. You can do this. You don't have to like it, but you will get through. Keep us posted, as many of us are with you in spirit.
ReplyDeleteLove ya!

Praying for your family today. Specifically that the labor starts soon, and that you feel God's presence with you in the hospital.
ReplyDeletePraying for all the things I can think of...and asking God to intervene in the needs I forget to pray for. Caden is blessed to have you as parents, you are blessed to have him as a son...and I pray for the moment you see his precious face.

Hi Brandon and Lindsey,
ReplyDeleteWe are watching a series of videos in Sunday School called "Nooma". The one today was titled "Rain". As I watched it I could not help but think of you guys and kept thinking, "I wish Lindsey could watch this". At the end of the video the website flashed up on the screen. I just accessed the website and found that you can watch the video clip online. I was a truly touching message that I think you would find helpful, especially today. If you have time and the desire, go to www.nooma.com. At the bottom is the video, Rain001. It is 11 min long but I hope you find it worth it as you are in the midst of a torrential downpour. I am praying that you prove the medical staff wrong with a quick labor. May God carry you through this storm.
